26 children with cleft lip and palate were given operation |

From 12/07 to 16/07/ 2010, Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy coordinated with Chonbuk Na tional University – Korean to operated for children with cleft lip and palate. On this occasion, there are 26 children who live in center of Vietnam were given operation. Through Office of Genetic Counseling and Disabled Children (OGCDC), AFEPS Association (France) supported a large part of expense to operate for children who have hard circumstances. On behalf of children with disabilities and their families, we would like to send our deep thankfulness to the doctors of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy, Chonbuk National University (Korea) and AFEPS Association who always concern and support for children with disabilities and their families so that they can overcome the hard situation in their life.

Unlike normal children, Nguyen Tri Gia Bao was born with an unfortunate fate. Bao’s mother haemorrhaged after his birth and passed away. This meant he could never grow up in the loving arms and soothing lullabies of his mother. As a baby, Bao certainly could not understand how serious his loss was. There was only his father beside him, who was the only person Bao and his siblings could depend on.

Today we would like to share with you the very sad circumstance of Nguyen Tam Phat, a child with congenital heart disease. With the care and sharing of the benefactors, he had an operation and has a healthy heart now.
