|
In December 02nd 2009, the APL & UCP Wheelsforhumanity (USA) had a program for handing special wheelchair to the disabled at the Hospital of Functional Rehabilitation For Handicapped Children. Through this program, we received 22 special wheelchairs for the disabled in Nam Dong district, Future School, Thuy Bieu Hope House and Duc Son orphanage. We are very grateful to the Foundation for supporting the meaningful gifts to the disabled people and we hope these wheelchairs will help reducing difficulties for the disabled. Especially, one disabled member of Office of Genetic Counseling and Disabled Children (OGCDC) received an electric one for outside transportation and a wheelchair for moving in the office and house. Again, we appreciate what the APL & UCP Wheelsforhumanity (USA) has done for the disabled people and we hope that we will receive the support from the Foundation in the future.
