Picnics and campings is one of the important programs of our special school/ classes. Through this activity, the children are not only enjoy leisure time but also to expand the students’ experience and understanding of the social, cultural and physical environment. In March 2009, all children in Future School and Duc Son have enjoyed the puppet performance in Co Do Hue Water Puppetry Theatre. All children are very interested in with many fascinating performances.

With the kindly support of Mrs. Ute Cremer, DED expert who is now working at Provincial Hospital of Functional Rehabilitation for Handicapped Children, OGCDC has conducted the training courses on General Information about Cerebral palsy and Positioning for children in different class situation. After these two basic trainings, Mrs. Ute will visit directly to each class and give the support for teachers and children. Thank you so much for Mrs Ute’s support in giving new knowledge for our teacher.

With the great support of Lilianne Fonds (Netherlands), during the last 8 years of implementing the special education program for children with intellectual disabilities in Hue, the OGCDC has get many achievements such as a suitable learning environment for students, high training quality and the large number of children and teachers.
During the past time, the teacher staffs incessantly learns and enhance their knowledge as well as collegial support especially in different fields such as experiences relating to teaching for children with autism, cerebral palsy and augmentative and alternative communication. The ongoing training is conducted every Friday afternoon by OGCDC’s staff and teachers for this purpose. This is the very essential activities for our staffs to learn and exchange experience.
With the efforts of the whole school, we will create a good learning environment for our children.
