Today we would like to share with you the story of Dang Van Tung who has congenital heart disease and has received the support from the donators to undergo heart operation.

Born in Thanh Thuy Chanh hamlet, Thuy Thanh commune, Thua Thien Hue, Dang Van Duc – the father of Dang Van Tung – led a very tough life. Orphaned since 4 years old, he was raised by his aunt with his other two siblings. However this period was not long because the aunt was also very poor.

Using the new criteria of Lilian Foundation for helping children with disabilities and difficult situations, collaborators have evaluated the needs of the children and planned for the recovering of each disabled child. The older children had a comparable amount of knowledge and were moved to the technical schools to learn skills for their jobs. Hence, for this school year, the new group of disabled children at the orphanage center and a few children in Nam Dong district received financial aid from Lilian Foundation to go to school.
